2. Our Services and how you should use our Services
1 The Hospital on net - What we do
- We connect you to specialists who provide medical consultations and other health related, healthy living related advice based on online questionnaires you complete, telephone conversations, secure messaging, information you provide and photo/video/live stream assessments.
- If they determine based on medical assessment that you are suitable for treatment or advice they will issue a prescription or advice. This recommendation may besent to our partner or Pharmacy (or such other pharmacy with whose services we accept from time to time). who may dispense and post medicines at their own charges which may vary, unless you choose to just take advice.
- We may provide follow-up medical advice to address any side effects or any other query or issues and other issues arising from this recommendation. You agree, we may keep your doctor informed.
- Our work is to get you in touch with specialist professionals, who you can choose from multiple options who you think is best suited foryour needs and answering your question.
2 The Hospital on net – How it works
- When you visit our website for the first time you have the option to register prior to using our services or simply browse through for information on our services. If you start using our services, you will be required to register before submitting a questionnaire or requesting an appointment.
- Your username is usually the email that you register with. Password is your choice. We would recommend not to disclose your password to anyone as it leads to your personal space and may contain your information, medical documents, history of appointments and payments.
- We offer multiple services. You need to choose your service you want. It may be a healthy living related advice or your health problem related advice including treatment, prevention and medicines or therapy among others.
- Once you choose a specialist or service, you choose a time and date to consult and give the medium of your choice for consultation. This would be usually over the net.
- Once the health professional/service provider accepts in principle, you will need to pay for this service in advance, only then the appointment request is final and made with healthcare professional.
- We will make full effort to connect to your medium of choice at the stated appointment time, but sometimes inevitably due to conditions out of our hands it may not be possible to connect at the exact time, in which case it may be few minutes late or you may be asked to book another time or we will offer you another time. We will not charge you extra if it is due to our inability to reach you.
- We would encourage that you provide us the additional information about your questions and health information in the form provided at the time of booking, which you can download and fill up and then upload. If all this information is available beforehand, the specialist will be better aware of your condition and can provide you with better advice on your questions. This will also reduce your time of consultation and hence save you money if the consultation and problem is complex.
- You will need to ensure that you are available at your chosen or given time and date ready with medium agreed, try to connect to that medium 10-15 minutes before, so that there are no problems during your consultation. Please keep other distractions off at the time of consultation so that it is not interrupted by any other things. If you are not available when contacted due to some urgent reason, which we think is reasonable, we may give you one (not more) more time to consult. I you are not available again your fee may be forfeited.
- If due to some reason your requested specialist is not available and has to decline your request for appointment, you can contact us and ask for another specialist/service provider for appointment. If you are not able to choose, we may be able to help you.
- Once you have submitted the payment, a binding contract is formed between you and provider. you will get email, message or SMS, a confirmation that you have successfully made the appointment. Our doctors/specialists/service providers will review the information sheet/questionnaire and information that you provide and, provided that you are suitable for remote medical treatment and they are happy to go ahead with appointment, they will accept the appointment for consultation/service.
- Once you have submitted a questionnaire/made an appointment and paid for it, our providers (doctors/service providers/specialists) aim to respond to you within 48 hours on weekdays. You accept that once you have submitted the appointment request you can no longer cancel this service. This is because our providers will commence reviewing your request once payment has gone through. In the event, however, that our providers determine that you are not suitable for treatment/service and alternative providers are also not able to provide their service, we will refund fees paid by you. No additional compensation or interest will be paid apart from the original amount. The returned amount may incur an admin charge if complex/multiple communications are involved. However, we will try that the process is straightforward without you having to make extra efforts to get your money. Bank/PayPal/credit card/debit card or international currency transfer charges may apply.
- All our professionals /providers arequalified to provide service in their field and are responsible for their professional conduct.
